Resources that I use to collect primary source documents are the History Central, National Archives, Gilder Lehrman, and the Library of Congress Primary Source Sets. I have used these and others in the past. They are pretty much any secondary education teacher’s source for creating document based questions and assignments. These resources and others are what I’ll need to create my Google Sites page for my class; local databases are not helpful for me to help me cover my curriculum objectives.
This Google webpage is my idea for my final project. I’ll use my schools’s IT specialist and most likely a YouTube tutorial. Fred Lynn has specific gmail addresses for teachers for the goal of using Google for in depth classroom use. The goal with the google classpage to have a functioning page that catalogs the year’s course work in organized folders for students to access in school, at home and abroad when my students visit other countries. Since its my class page I don’t have to worry about attracting and keeping an audience.
