Thinking about web creation tool options-

Honestly, I’m concerned about the time commitment needed to make a web page from scratch. I want to, however, now is not the time for me but it is an activity that’s on my short list for the future. For now, I’ve contacted the IT specialist at Fred Lynn MS to get the information I need to create a class page using Google.

Google is the best  use of my time and it’s a format that has the best chance for longevity, reliability and accessibility within the context of my needs.

Thinking about possible project ideas-

First, its important to note that many of the module direction links using the Canvas app are broken. It wasn’t until to today when I used my laptop and logged into MyNova that I found all the links working.  Not sure why the links appear broken on the Canvas app and not a laptop when all else functions well but its important to know if others are relying heavily on the app too.

Canvas app issues aside, here are my ideas.

First assignment and Second assignment will both occur in Unit 7 because I’d like to do the Story map and Timeline assignments; I’m assuming then they will be due at the same time.  I haven’t read anywhere that assignments must come from different units so if I can complete both in the same unit then that’s what id like to do. My final project idea is the Pinterest Board. I’m envisioning a board based on the Standards of Learning objectives for my 6th grade history class.

I’m looking forward to completing course work that has real life applications!!!

*^ This is supposed to show up as an active gif. I need to play with it because its just appearing as a link for now.

**Alas, I don’t think I can with the free version of WordPress.  It appears I have to upgrade to add video and audio files.
