Well this was fun.

Prof. Evans suggested using Blogger and I actually set up a blog site on Blogger but when I went to the App Store the only app for Blogger was an app called Blogg for Blogger. It had 4 stars with only 70 reviews and specified “made in Russia”.

That was odd.

WordPress, however, has 5 stars and 18k reviews. Reviews can be faked but it’s a good place to start. The WordPress app will be used for running this blog because being “Mobile friendly” is an absolute must for my life and my students. My 6th graders rarely have reliable computer access but most have phones. If my students don’t have phones, their parents almost always do.

The WordPress app was simple enough start and appears set up for easy for positing. I like the editing tools but I still need to play around with the page setup, organization and presentation.

I might even hop on a laptop to do some of that!!
